Apart from Royal Bangkok Sports Club, Muang Kaew Golf Course is most likely one of the golf courses closest to the central parts of Bangkok. It does not take more than 20 minutes to get to the course from the hectic city center — given there is no rush traffic! Its central location has obviously made it ever popular among the Bangkokians. This means the course can be heavily crowded, especially during weekends. The 18 holes course, par 72, stands out through its mix of rather easy par 5 holes and more difficult par 4 holes. The course design was made by Lee Schmidt and the construction finished in 1993. During weekdays, the green fee is approximately 2,000 baht whereas it is a bit more expensive to play during weekends.
